3RD ANNUAL SUMMER KICK-OFF

Looking for some Memorial Day weekend entertainment? Laurel Highlands Horse Pulling Association has the answer! This is one of the premier pulls of the year. The past two pulls have featured some of the best lightweight and heavyweight teams in the country. The Laurel Highlands dynamometer saw heavier loads than ever before. Teams and horses holding many state and even world records attend this pull.

Where: This pull will be held at Porchview Arena in Acme, PA. This is an indoor arena so we will be pulling rain or shine! For directions to Porchview, please visit their website at www.porchviewstables-arena.com.

When: Saturday May 29^th.

The lightweights will start at 5:00 p.m. and the heavy class will follow.

We will be pulling lights and heavies. The lightweights are 3375#. Weigh-in will begin at 2 p.m. You will weigh on digital scales and there will be no allowance! Have your horses ready to weigh.

Stalls are available at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds (about 5 miles away). Everyone is encouraged to come Friday night and stable your horses at the fairgrounds. Scales and an exercise sled will be available. There will also be night watchmen on grounds.

The Laurel Highlands Dynamometer will be used.

There will be a Calcutta in both classes.
